This report gives an overview of the key items considered by members of the Licensing Committee and Sub-Committees at their meetings on the following dates:

Licensing Sub-Committee – 13 August 2026

The Sub-Committee met to consider whether Mr Baljeet Chopra was a fit and proper person to hold a Hackney Carriage driver licence. The Sub-Committee resolved to suspend Mr Chopra’s Hackney Carriage driver licence for six weeks.

Licensing Sub-Committee – 16 September 2026

The Sub-Committee met to consider an application for a premises licence at Tesco Express, 6-7 Avenue Parade, Sunbury-on-Thames TW16 5HS in the light of representations. The Sub-Committee resolved that the application for a premises licence at Tesco Express be granted subject to conditions, set out in full in the decision notice.
